Camp Freedom's mission is to provide a recreational, educational camp to empower children with bleeding disorders while promoting self-esteem and independence.

THBDF has been providing a camp experience for kids with bleeding disorders for 48 years!!  Camp Freedom is a safe, fun place where children and parents can have a break from the daily pressure of living with a chronic illness. Children will learn life-skills and will develop friendships with other children who face the same challenges each day. Parents can relax and know that their child(ren) are in a safe environment with skilled leaders and on-site medical care to meet their special needs. Camp Freedom is for children ages 7 - 15 years of age with a bleeding disorder or carrier of a bleeding disorder provide at no cost to the families.  Last year, we opened up camp to siblings as well to help them learn more about brother or sisters disorder.
